15 Day Consecutive Swiss Rail Pass vs Flex Pass with 16 Days of Travel

We are travelling in Switzerland by train. We will be there 17 days with 16 days needed for the rail pass. We want to buy the swiss rail pass for 15 consecutive to be able to get an Epass, but we will need one day of travel to the airport from Lausanne to Geneva. Should we buy the flex pass and pay the extra $100 or buy the consecutive pass and pay for a train ticket from Lausanne to Geneva?

    Hi Gina,

It would probably be more economical to just purchase a regular ticket for that extra trip from Lausanne to the Geneva Airport.

You would check ticket costs and purchase tickets for a train from Lausanne to the Geneva Airport by doing a search for the route under 'Find Train Tickets' on our homepage, www.raileurope.com. When purchasing tickets to the station at the Geneva Airport, just be sure to type 'Geneva Airport' in the field for the arrival city.
