Hi I'm Marie,

Is it worth getting the 3 day eurail select pass even though Bruges and Ghent are regional trains?

Thank you

    Hi Marie,

The cumulative totals for the requested itinerary are comparable, but the option of getting regular tickets would end up being slightly more economical.

You would purchase tickets by searching a route under 'BOOK TRAIN TICKETS' on the homepage of our website, www.raileurope.com.

    Amsterdam to Bruges

Connections from Amsterdam to Bruges take just over 3 hours in duration and involve changing trains once in Brussels along the way. Trains from Amsterdam to Brussels are high-speed Thalys trains.

    Bruges to Brussels

Trains from Bruges to Brussels depart 3 times every hour and the ride takes 55-58 minutes. When searching for trains to/from Bruges on our site, you would just have to type it as 'Brugge'.

    Brussels to Ghent

Direct trains from Brussels to Ghent depart 4 to 7 times every hour and the ride takes about 30 minutes.

    Ghent to Paris

Connections from Ghent to Paris take just over 2 hours in duration and involve changing trains once in Brussels along the way. Trains from Brussels to Paris are high-speed Thalys trains.
