Thank you for your question, Sarah.

A daytime connection from Amsterdam to Krakow would take at least 15 hours in duration and involves 2 train changes en route; once in Berlin and then once in Warsaw.

Otherwise, an overnight connection from Amsterdam to Krakow would take about 22 hours in duration and involves 3 train changes along the way; once in Oberhausen, once in Poznan, and then once in Wroclaw. The segment from Oberhausen to Poznan would be on the actual overnight train.

For the daytime option, you would purchase tickets and check schedules by clicking on 'Find Fares & Schedules' on our homepage. To do so, you would do a separate search for each segment of the connection. Therefore, you would do one search for trains from Amsterdam to Berlin (InterCity trains), another search for connecting trains from Berlin to Warsaw (Berlin-Warsaw Express trains), and then another search for connecting trains from Warsaw to Krakow. Please note, our website may only show the Warsaw 'Centralna' station as the station of arrival for trains Berlin to Warsaw and Warsaw 'Zachodnia' as the station of departure for trains from Warsaw to Krakow. Rest assured, you can change trains at either station, no matter which station is reflected on the tickets we issue to you for these trains. For your reference, the direct trains from Berlin do stop at the Zachodnia station just 5 minutes before they are shown to be arriving into the Centralna station on our website, and the trains from Warsaw to Krakow depart from the Centralna station just 5 before they are shown to be departing from the Zachodnia station on our website.

Generally, trains from Amsterdam to Berlin and Berlin to Warsaw can be booked within 90 days of an intended date of departure, while trains from Warsaw to Krakow can only be booked within 30 days of an intended date of departure.

With regard to the overnight connection from Amsterdam to Krakow, the night train from Oberhausen to Poznan is currently not able to be viewed or booked on our website. Therefore, to purchase tickets for this train and inquire about its costs, you would have to call us at 1-800-622-8600. In the meantime, you can check schedules and ticket costs for trains from Amsterdam to Oberhausen (InterCity Express trains) and Poznan to Krakow (via Wroclaw) under 'Find Fares & Schedules' on our homepage.

Generally, trains from Amsterdam to Oberhausen and the night train from Oberhausen to Poznan can be booked within 90 days of an intended date of departure, while trains from Poznan to Krakow (via Wroclaw) can only be booked within 30 days of an intended date of departure.
