Arlberg Pass. What train tickets do I need?

I want to book 4 tickets from Zurich to Salzburg, but I want to go through the Arlberg pass thru Innsbruck. I can't for the life of me figure out what train tickets I need to do this. Anyone know how to find this??? Do I have to purchase several different tickets? We are traveling in May but I want to have this figured out before they go on sale. Thanks

    Hi Debbi,

Rest assured, all of the direct trains from Zurich to Salzburg travel along the Arlberg Railway through the Arlberg Pass. Therefore, all you need to do is purchase tickets for one of these trains. Direct trains from Zurich to Salzburg are Railjet trains. These trains can be booked once within 90 days of an intended departure date. You would purchase tickets from Zurich to Salzburg by searching the route under 'Find Train Tickets' on the Rail Europe homepage, www.raileurope.com.

The Arlberg Railway starts as you pass through Bludenz (just across the Swiss/Austrian border) and goes up to Innsbruck.
