What is the baggage allowance on TGV trains? We are 4 musicians traveling with 6 pieces of baggage & 2 guitars.

There will be Four musicians traveling on the TGV. We will have 6 pieces of baggage and two guitars.
Will a standard ticket allow us to carry this on or would we need to get an upgrade on some of the tickets?

Thank you for your assistance.

    Hi Randy,

Rest assured, guitars can be taken on as luggage. Regular tickets for your seats would be all you'd need. You would purchase tickets by entering a route on our homepage (www.raileurope.com).

When traveling on trains in Europe, you would generally be able to take as many bags as you can carry. A typical amount of luggage per person is 2 large items, plus one smaller item. Trains provide sufficient space to store luggage. There is space between seats or in the overhead racks. In many cases, there is also space at the ends of each train car.
