what is the difference between the BritRail Pass and the BritRail England Pass. Is there a pass for just the southern part of England (areas surrounding London).

    Hi Ruth,

The BritRail Pass covers tickets costs for travel in Scotland and Wales, as well as England. For information on the BritRail Pass, you would click here: http://www.raileurope.com/rail-ticket... .

The BritRail England Pass covers ticket costs only for travel in England. For information on the BritRail England Pass, you would click here: http://www.raileurope.com/rail-ticket... .

There is also the BritRail London Plus Pass, which is a special pass that only covers areas in the south of England surrounding London. You can purchase this pass by clicking here: http://www.raileurope.com/rail-ticket... .

The BritRail London Plus Pass would cover an area as far out as (clockwise from the southwest) Weymouth, Salisbury, Bristol, Oxford, Worcester, Stratford-upon-Avon, Long Buckby, Bedford, Huntingdon, Kings Lynn, and Harwich; as well as all of the coastline in between Harwich and Weymouth that includes Southend-on-Sea, Dover, Hastings, Brighton, Portsmouth, Southampton, and Bournemouth. Notable destinations within this area also include Bath, Cambridge, Windsor, Canterbury, and Reading.
