Going from Luxembourg to London, which station in Brussels do I switch?

We are travelling from Luxembourg City to London. The train from Luxembourg to Brussels arrives at Brussels Nord; the train to London departs from Brussels Midi. What is the transfer between the station? Or does the train from Luxembourg also stop at Brussels Midi? Thanks.

  • Hi Bev,

While our website only reflects Nord as the arrival station in Brussels, you can rest assured that the trains do also stop at the Midi station. For your reference, trains from Luxembourg to Brussels arrive into the Midi station just about 10 minutes after they are scheduled to be arriving into the Nord station.

At the Brussels Midi station, you would just want to allow yourself at least 20 minutes to switch to the Eurostar train to London.

You would purchase tickets by searching a route under 'BOOK TRAIN TICKETS' on the homepage of our website, www.raileurope.com. For a trip from Luxembourg to London, you would just break up your search once in Brussels. Therefore, you would do one search from Luxembourg to Brussels and another search for connecting trains from Brussels to London.

Even though the tickets we issue for the segment from Luxembourg to Brussels may reflect Nord as the arrival station, you can still use them get off at Midi.

Trains from Luxembourg to Brussels can only be booked within 60 days of an intended departure date. The Eurostar from Brussels to London can be booked to 6 to 9 months in advance of a departure.
