    Hi,

A bicycle can be taken on board any train if contained within a purpose-designed bicycle bag (measuring no more than 120cm x 90cm). A bike can fit in such a bag with the wheels and pedals detached and the handlebars parallel to the frame. There would be no charge to transport a bike in such a bag.

In Spain, fully assembled bicycles are only allowed on board 'Media Distancia' (MD) and other regional trains. However, there are no such trains from Santiago de Compostela to Pamplona.

You would purchase tickets for the train from Santiago de Compostela to Pamplona by entering the route on our homepage, www.raileurope.com. Generally, trains in Spain can be booked once within 60 to 90 days of an intended date of departure. The train from Santiago de Compostela to Pamplona is an 'Alvia' train.
