Can ́t cancel reservatiion. Seat reservation can cost almost double than a regular ticket price, and the RailEurope system don ́t warn about!

I had paid almost twice the regular ticket price for a seat reservation with the Rail Europe pass.

Why don ́t you warn things like this? When I purchase the pass, I read a document about the reservation fees, and it says values like EUR6, EUR12, but Euro Rail practice reservation fees like EUR60, EUR200 !!!!

The search have no information check about prices between pass holder or single tickets.

The system does not allow to send the tickets (PAPER TICKETS!!!!!!!!) to another country than my residence.

The system does not verify if the travel I am making a reservation is OK with my current Pass, what means it will allow me to get a travel to a place not covered by the ticket, causing me to pay additional fees for this situations.

Rail Europe has at least 3 different websites, each of them shows different prices for the same product.

I have to pay EUR20 for each reservation to keep the "magnificent" system working, but it does not do anything that I need as a pass holder. The customer need to keep searching values and ticket prices across the rail companies.

I want cancel my reservation but I can ́t. The Customer Care area in the website is not working. This system is too obtuse that nothing is clear for the customer.

    Passholder reservation fees can be checked on our website, and we encourage that clients do just that when trying to determine what to purchase for their rail travels, be it a rail pass with reservations or regular tickets. We recommend that customers check the options available to them before deciding what to purchase. If there is a particular train that isn’t quoting on our website, we do have a contact center you can call for assistance. We can be reached at 1-800-622-8600.

    Also, our website is designed to quote the correct reservations based on the rail pass you indicated you’ll be traveling with. If there happened to be an error with a specific train you booked, then please let us know.
