I’m confused and frustrate

can i still book reservation with my global pass after i left my country of resident?

I was trying to book a reservation with my global pass, however i have already left, America, my country of resident. Can i still book the reservation? It is not letting me choose the actual date that i left. And it is asking me for a mailing address, can i just put in my address in france?
or does it mean that i have to book my all reservations before i left america? if thats the case, my global pass is just a waste of money...

    Hi Ying,

    It is recommended that reservations be purchased in advance, prior to departing for Europe, as reservations for most trains are actual paper documents that would have to be shipped to you, and many trains can sell out. If you have already left for Europe, you would purchase your reservations there locally. In Europe, reservations can be purchased at any rail station, local travel agent, or possibly through a hotel concierge service.

    Otherwise, if you wish, you can arrange for reservations to be shipped to you at an address in Europe. However, delivery to an international address is not able to be arranged on our website. To arrange for an order to be delivered to you at an address in Europe, you would call us at 1-800-622-8600 or 1-847-916-1028. Our current hours are 9:00 AM to 8:30 PM ET Monday to Friday and 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET on Saturday and Sunday.
