Is 8 minutes enough time to change trains at the station in Stuttgart for my trip from Paris to Munich?

We are planning a trip from Paris to Munich. The connection is tight.

Is 8 minutes enough time to transfer from a TGV train to an Inter City express trains in Stuttgart?

A common minimum connection time is 7 to 10 minutes for changing trains at the typical station in Europe. Rest assured, an 8 minute connection time should be sufficient to change trains at the station in Stuttgart.

However, if you wish, you can arrange for a connection time of your choosing by doing a separate search for each segment when you go to purchase the tickets on our site under 'Find Fares & Schedules'. Therefore, you would do one search for trains from Paris to Stuttgart (high-speed 'TGV Est' trains) and another search for connecting trains from Stuttgart to Munich (high-speed 'InterCity Express' trains, 'EuroCity' trains, or regular 'InterCity' trains).

Generally, the trains that comprise of this connection can be booked within 90 days of an intended date of departure.
