Geneva to Chamonix to Zermatt to Montreux to Geneva

Hi,
I am looking to travel from Geneva to Chamonix to Zermatt to Montreux and then back to Geneva. The trip is 8 days and there are two of us (over the age of 26) traveling. Which pass should we purchase? How much will it cost? Do we need to buy this in advance?
Thank you,
Erica

  • Hi Erica,

I will recommend a Swiss Rail Pass Saver. You can view and purchase the Swiss Rail Pass on the following link: http://www.raileurope.com/rail-ticket...
To travel from Geneva to Chamonix and to Zermatt you will want to make sure you travel from Martigny to Chamonix and back on the narrow gauge rack railway to have your travel from Geneva to Chamonix to Zermatt covered by the Swiss Rail Pass.

It is important to purchase your rail tickets prior to departing for Europe to avoid any language barrier and long lines at the station.
