Class differences on the TGV?

What are the main differences in the Class options available on TGV travel.. My husband and I are traveling from Aix En Provence to Paris in September of this year. Thanks!

    Hello Carrie,

On our site, Economy just refers to 2nd class and Comfort refers to 1st class. On trains in Europe, 1st class offers more comfortable and larger seats, more leg room, and is often less crowded with fewer seats per train car. As a result, the 1st class train cars also may tend to be quieter than the 2nd class train cars.

Many TGV trains in France, including trains from Aix en Provence to Paris, will offer 'Premier' as a third option, which is 1st class but including a meal (this option is generally not offered for trains throughout the rest of Europe). To view information on the fare and the fare's rules and guidelines, you would click on 'Select' listed with the fare when you pull up the results of your search on our website.

Trains in France are only able to be booked within 90 days of an intended date of departure. Since your intended date of departure falls outside of this time frame, you would just enter a date within the next 90 days to get an idea of cost and view schedules when searching a route on our website.
