It is important to note that there is no single rail pass that combines the United Kingdom (in regards to your travel to London to Paris) with any other countries on the mainland continent of Europe.

Therefore, from the itinerary you provided in your post, you would purchase a 3 country Eurail Select Pass to include France, Italy and Spain; in combination with tickets on the Eurostar train between London and Paris and your other reservations. You can check costs for the Eurail Select Pass by clicking here: http://www.raileurope.com/rail-ticket....

Any passenger under the age of 26 (25 or younger) is eligible to purchase a Eurail Select Pass at a youth rate, however, youth passes are only offered for 2nd class travel. In contrast, the regular adult rate and the 'Saver' rate for the Eurail Select Passes are only offered for 1st class travel.

Therefore, since there will be an adult passengers traveling with youth passengers, you can purchase this pass at the Saver rate for all members of the party, as long as they all will be traveling together at all times. Once you enter the number of passengers traveling on the page for the Eurail Select Pass on our website, you would just click 'Yes' where it says 'Special prices are offered for 2 or more travelers. Is everyone in your party traveling together at all times?', and you would then be quoted the Saver rate.

Additionally, the Eurostar between London and Paris is not entirely covered by any pass. However, by purchasing the Eurail Select Pass that includes France, you would be eligible to receive the 'Passholder' fare on this train. You would check Passholder costs for the Eurostar by clicking on 'Reservations For Rail Pass Holders' or 'Book a Reservation for Your Pass' on the homepage of our website, just as you would to make reservations on other trains.

Trains operating within France and Italy can only be booked within 90 days of an intended departure date. Trains operating within Spain can only be booked within 60 days of an intended departure date. Trains operating internationally between any of these countries can be booked within 90 days of a departure. While most reservable trains in Europe can only be booked within 60 or 90 days of an intended date of departure, the Eurostar is an exception and can generally be booked up to 9 months in advance. Due to high demand, the Passholder rates on the Eurostar (and on other trains for that matter) can sell out quickly, so it is recommended that the tickets be purchased as soon as possible.

Please let us know if you have any difficulty purchasing reservations for any specific route.

As of this month (April 2018):

The following rail passes no longer qualify passengers to receive ‘passholder’ rates for reservations on the Eurostar:

Any single country Eurail Pass, including:

      • Eurail France Pass
      • Eurail Benelux Pass

Any 2 country option of Eurail Select Pass, including:

      • Eurail France-Italy Pass
      • Eurail France-Switzerland Pass
      • Eurail France-Germany Pass
      • Eurail Benelux-France Pass
      • Eurail France-Spain Pass
      • Eurail Benelux-Germany Pass

BritRail Passes and the France-Italy combination of the 2 country Eurail Select Pass continue to not be valid on the Eurostar.

Passengers traveling with any of these rail passes would need to purchase regular tickets to take the Eurostar.

Passholder rates will continue to be offered (depending on availability) to any passenger traveling with a Eurail Global Pass, a 3 country Eurail Select Pass (that includes the country of arrival or departure, be it France or the Benelux), or a 4 country Eurail Select Pass (that includes the country of arrival or departure, be it France or the Benelux).
