delay between booking and confirmation email

I initiated a rail trip reservation and submitted all info. Received email that it was being processed but was not confirmed, and that I would hear of confirmation within 2 business days. It's been 5 business days. Is this typical?

    No, you should've been contacted by now. I apologize if you haven't heard back about your order yet. I'd recommend checking your spam/junk folder for an email from us. Otherwise, I'd recommend that you call us to see what might've happened and finalize your order. We can be reached at 1-800-622-8600.
