I’m frustrated

Disappointed with Live Chat and was given wrong information

I asked the agents (I called back) regarding my planned trip on May 2, 2019. Leaving Tours and returning to Paris at 11:39 a.m. at Paris Montparnasse Station....."Would I be able to make a connection to Marseilles in less than 10 minutes? Both agents YES, that the train to Marseilles would be on the track next to the one that I arrive on from Tours. I just found out that is not true... the connection from Paris to Marseilles in at Gare De Lyon and I would need to take a bus to that train station from Montp to De Lyon. I am fine with that, but the agents should know that there is NOT a quick connection to Marseilles from Montparnasse Station as I first inquired.

    Hi Tom,

We are very sorry to hear you received bad information. Of course, it would take more time than that to commute between the Montparnasse and Gare de Lyon stations. We'll make sure our new staff is made aware of this.

If not a bus, you can also take the Métro. To commute from Montparnasse to Gare de Lyon via the Métro, you would take the M4 line to the Châtelet Les Halles stop. At Châtelet Les Halles, you would switch to the M14 line and take it to Gare de Lyon. The ride on M4 and M14 between Montparnasse and Gare de Lyon takes at least 15 to 20 minutes, but I would still advise allowing yourself at least an hour to make this transfer. You would pay to get on the Métro locally when you're there.

Again, we are very sorry for the confusion.
