    Hi,

Yes, the France Rail Pass does cover trains to Colmar. If the train you're taking into Colmar is a TGV train, then reservations would be required in addition to the rail pass. For travel with a rail pass, you would purchase reservations by clicking the 'Seat Reservations' tab on our homepage (www.raileurope.com), entering a route, and indicating the type of rail pass with which you'll be traveling (i.e. a 'France Rail Pass'). Generally, reservable trains in France can be booked once within 90 days of an intended date of departure.

In contrast, regional 'TER' trains don't even accept reservations. Therefore, if the train you're taking into Colmar is a TER train, then the rail pass is all you would need to board.
