Edge of Eastern Europe trip

What's the cheapest way to travel via train to Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Belarus, Ukraine and Moldova. If possible I would also to go on to Romania, Serbia, Bosnia & Herzogovina, Crotia and Slovenia. I'm looking to go in Late Oct/early Nov. Thank you!

  • Hi Michelle,

At this time we do not offer passes for Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Belarus, Ukrain and Moldova. These tickets would need to be purchased locally in each country of travel.

As for Romania, Serbia, Bosnia $ Herzogovina, Croatia and Slovenia, we do offer rail passes that would include these countries. Please note that in some countries are not able to reserve seat reservations which would need to be done locally. We have the Balkan pass which would cover all these countries except Croatia and Slovenia. For those countries we have a separate pass.

Depending on the amount of travel days you will be needing will depend on the best pass option for you.

I hope this information is helpful to you in planning your itinerary. Should you need further assistance, please contact us at 800-438-7245 and one of our Travel Consultants will be able to assist you further.

Thank you. Have a wonderful day.

  • Is there a train from the Baia Mare area to Budapest? Where is the closest station in SE Ukraine to Budapest?
