How do you book reservations on a TGV in France with a Eurail Pass?

Can a Eurail pass be used to get on TGV trains in France? I heard you can, but need to reserve your seat to guarantee a place on the train. How would you do so?

    Hi Alan,

Yes, TGV trains are covered by rail passes. They would just require reservations as a supplement to a rail pass.

For travel with a rail pass, you would purchase reservations by searching a route on our homepage (www.raileurope.com), checking the box that says ‘I have a rail pass’, and then indicating the type of rail pass with which you'll be traveling. Generally, TGV trains can only be reserved once within 90 days of an intended departure date.
