Does the France Rail Pass cover the trains from Paris to Figueres? Or would I need the Eurail France-Spain Pass?

Is the Figueres-Vilafant train station included in the France rail pass?
I will be traveling from Paris to Figueres, but will do limited travel within Spain.

It appears from the website below that it is:

Or, would I need a France-Spain rail pass?

    Hi Phillip,

Actually, yes, even though Figueres is in Spain, the France Rail Pass does cover the France-Spain High Speed trains that go there from Paris. In addition to the pass, these trains do require reservations. For travel with the pass, you would purchase reservations by clicking on 'Book your Rail Pass Reservations' on our homepage, entering the route, and indicating the type of rail pass you'll be traveling with when you're prompted (i.e. the France Rail Pass).

To ensure that you're purchasing your reservations on this train at the actual Passholder rate, you would take the following steps:

1.) Click on 'Book your Rail Pass Reservations' on our homepage, enter the route, and indicate the type of pass you'll be traveling with when you're prompted (i.e. 'France Rail Pass').

2.) Locate one of the direct France-Spain High Speed trains from Paris to Figueres and click the 'View' button for the fare listed under your preferred class of service ('Comfort' for 1st class and 'Economy' for 2nd class).

3.) After you've clicked 'View', you would refer to where it says 'Ticket Flexibility' in the box that expands out underneath and click 'Read More' next to the option(s) listed there until you see a fare named 'France - Spain High Speed Passholder' or something similar. Generally, the Passholder rate for these trains would be found under the 'Flexible' option.

4.) Be sure the Passholder option is checked and click 'Select' to proceed and add the fare to your 'Itinerary' (shopping cart).

Generally, these trains can be booked within 90 days of an intended date of departure. If your intended travel happens to fall outside of this time frame, you would just enter a more imminent date, some time within the next 90 days, to get an idea of the reservation costs and view schedules when searching the route on our site.
