Figuring Out Flam

I will be in Norway in April of 2018. Coming back from Bergen enroute to Oslo, I would like to take the train to Flam, Spend the night there and take morning train back to Myrdal to catch the train back to Oslo. I will have a Eurail Global Pass.

Two Questions:

Can I buy the Myrdal to Flam and reverse itinerary on the Rail Europe Site?

Can the "Norway in a Nutshell" be taken in reverse from Bergen-Voss-Flam-Oslo with an overnight stay in Flam?

    Hello Scott,

While we are unable to sell tickets on only the Flam Railway (Myrdal-Flam and return), we do offer the Norway In A Nutshell for Eurail passholders, which for your itinerary would consist of the bus from Voss to Gudvangen, the boat from Gudvangen to Flam, an overnight stay in Flam, then the Flam Railway to Myrdal the following day. The beginning and end of the trip (Bergen-Voss and Myrdal-Oslo) would be covered by your Eurail Global Pass. We are able to reserve this tour 3 months in advance, feel free to contact us in January to book. In the meantime you can find some more information here:

    Hello Dave,

Thank you for your timely response, the information you provided is very helpful in putting together this puzzle regarding this portion of our travels through Norway. I will contact Rail Europe in January when I purchase my Global Pass to secure this leg of the journey.
