German Rail Pass cover Nuremberg to Prague, Prague to Munich, Munich to Venice, and Venice to Rome? How do you book reservations?

I am interested in the German rail pass and will be traveling from Nuremburg to Prague by bus and then Prague to Munich. What would the rail pass cover? The pass also states that one can travel on some trains to Italy. Would Munich to Venice and Venice to Rome be covered? And how does one book reservations having such a pass?

A bonus of the German Rail Pass is that it covers the IC Buses from Nuremberg to Prague and Prague to Munich, as well as direct EC trains from Munich to Venice. A German Rail Pass does not cover trains operating solely within Italy, so trains from Venice to Rome would not be covered.

The IC Buses and the Munich-Venice EC trains do require reservations, as a supplement to the rail pass. However, each of these particular reservations are currently not able to be booked on our website. These reservations are currently only able to be booked by calling us at 1-800-622-8600. Our current hours are 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM CT Monday through Friday.

For the German Rail Pass itself, you would click here:

The direct trains from Munich to Venice operate along a famed scenic line called the Brenner Railway.
