Hi Tim. Thank you for your question.

You would purchase the German Rail Pass Promotion here: http://www.raileurope.com/rail-tickets-passes/german-rail-pass-promotion/index.html.

The InterCity Buses to Prague covered by the German Rail Pass depart from either Munich or Nuremburg.

The InterCity Bus to Krakow covered by the German Rail Pass only departs from Berlin.

If need be, you would be able to start in either Prague or Krakow and be covered to travel in the reverse direction to Germany.

Reservations are required on these buses in addition to the rail pass. Generally, you would be able to purchase the reservations for these buses by clicking on 'Book your Rail Pass Reservations' on our homepage and entering the route; however, none of these buses are able to be reserved there at this time. Instead, you would purchase reservations and inquire about schedules for these buses by calling us at 1-800-622-8600. Please note, these buses can only be reserved within 60 days of an intended date of departure. The buses going from Krakow to Berlin might only be able to be reserved within 30 days of a departure date in certain cases.
