Global Pass + Reservation

I am wanting to book my first reservation from amsterdam to cologne however whatever dates I look at it says "tickets found but no reservations found for this pass" now I thought perhaps reservations were just sold out for that date (June 14) but no matter what day I click on I get the same response.. what does this mean?

    Hi Nikki,

There are direct trains from Amsterdam to Cologne, however, these are currently not displaying on our website. If you'd like to purchase reservations for one of the direct trains on this route, you would have to call us at 1-800-622-8600.

Otherwise, you should be able to purchase reservations on our site for connections from Amsterdam to Cologne that involve changing trains once in Duisburg en route. You would do so by clicking on 'Book your Rail Pass Reservations' on the homepage of our website, www.raileurope.com. If such a connection doesn't display when you do a search for the full route from Amsterdam to Cologne, you would piece together the connection by doing a separate search for each segment (i.e. one search for trains from Amsterdam to Duisburg and then another search for connecting trains from Duisburg to Cologne).

If you pull up the results of a passholder reservation search and you see a yellow box corresponding to a particular departure time that says 'Train Tickets Found', then it may mean that the passholder rates are either sold out or not being offered on at least part of that particular connection. For instance, you might see this for a connection from Amsterdam to Cologne that involves taking a 'Thalys' train from Amsterdam to Brussels, because Thalys hasn't been offering passholder rates on those trains.
