Change in reply by Jeff to Hi Vickie, For what you're trying to do, you would piece together a connection by doing a separate search for each segment. In any case, the multi-city' option doesn't work, so I would not advise using it. Additionally, you would only want to purchase reservations for one of the segments that comprise of your trip. There are direct regional trains from Zweisimmen up to <a href="https://www.raileurope.com/europe-travel-guide/switzerland/bern/index.html" rel="nofollow" title="Link: https://www.raileurope.com/europe-travel-guide/switzerland/bern/index.html">Bern</a>, but do you want to take the <a href="https://www.raileurope.com/european-trains/golden-pass/how-to-book.html" rel="nofollow" title="Link: https://www.raileurope.com/european-trains/golden-pass/how-to-book.html">GoldenPass</a> to Spiez before connecting up to <a href="https://www.raileurope.com/europe-travel-guide/switzerland/bern/index.html" rel="nofollow" title="Link: https://www.raileurope.com/europe-travel-guide/switzerland/bern/index.html">Bern</a>? If you'll be traveling with a rail pass, it would only be recommended that reservations be purchased for the <a href="https://www.raileurope.com/european-trains/golden-pass/how-to-book.html" rel="nofollow" title="Link: https://www.raileurope.com/european-trains/golden-pass/how-to-book.html">GoldenPass</a> segment from <a href="https://www.raileurope.com/popular-routes/montreux-to-zweisimmen.html" rel="nofollow" title="Link: https://www.raileurope.com/popular-routes/montreux-to-zweisimmen.html">Montreux to Zweisimmen</a>. For travel with a rail pass, you would purchase reservations for a train from <a href="https://www.raileurope.com/popular-routes/montreux-to-zweisimmen.html" rel="nofollow" title="Link: https://www.raileurope.com/popular-routes/montreux-to-zweisimmen.html">Montreux to Zweisimmen</a> by clicking the 'Seat Reservations' tab on our homepage (<a href="http://www.raileurope.com" rel="nofollow">www.raileurope.com</a>), inputting the cities, and indicating the type of rail pass with which you'll be traveling. On the segment from <a href="https://www.raileurope.com/popular-routes/montreux-to-zweisimmen.html" rel="nofollow" title="Link: https://www.raileurope.com/popular-routes/montreux-to-zweisimmen.html">Montreux to Zweisimmen</a>, there are either ‘Classic’ <a href="https://www.raileurope.com/european-trains/golden-pass/how-to-book.html" rel="nofollow">GoldenPass</a> trains or ‘Panorama’ <a href="https://www.raileurope.com/european-trains/golden-pass/how-to-book.html" rel="nofollow" title="Link: https://www.raileurope.com/european-trains/golden-pass/how-to-book.html">GoldenPass</a> trains for you to choose from. These will be labeled accordingly when you pull up the results of this search. Coaches on the 'Classic' trains have a vintage turn-of-the-century Belle Époque look, whereas the 'Panorama' trains have a more modern look. 'Classic' <a href="https://www.raileurope.com/european-trains/golden-pass/how-to-book.html" rel="nofollow" title="Link: https://www.raileurope.com/european-trains/golden-pass/how-to-book.html">GoldenPass</a> trains also have 'wine cellar' coaches, which offer a wider selection of wine than would be offered in the bar cars on the 'Panorama' trains; however, food is available for purchase on both the 'Classic' and 'Panorama' trains. The Classic trains have large windows, but the windows on the Panorama trains are more “panoramic”, as the name suggests. On the <a href="https://www.raileurope.com/european-trains/golden-pass/how-to-book.html" rel="nofollow" title="Link: https://www.raileurope.com/european-trains/golden-pass/how-to-book.html">GoldenPass</a> segment from <a href="https://www.raileurope.com/popular-routes/zweisimmen-to-spiez.html" rel="nofollow" title="Link: https://www.raileurope.com/popular-routes/zweisimmen-to-spiez.html">Zweisimmen to Spiez</a>, reservations are possible but not necessary. Reservations are also not necessary on trains from <a href="https://www.raileurope.com/popular-routes/spiez-to-bern.html" rel="nofollow">Spiez to Bern</a>. Therefore, you can rest assured that a rail pass would be all you'd need to board these trains. In any case, for planning purposes, you can still view schedules by doing separate searches for these segments on our site. Therefore, you would do one search for trains from <a href="https://www.raileurope.com/popular-routes/zweisimmen-to-spiez.html" rel="nofollow">Zweisimmen to Spiez</a> and another search for connecting trains from <a href="https://www.raileurope.com/popular-routes/spiez-to-bern.html" rel="nofollow">Spiez to Bern</a>. Direct trains from Zweisimmen to <a href="https://www.raileurope.com/europe-travel-guide/switzerland/bern/index.html" rel="nofollow">Bern</a> also don't need reservations. Therefore, a rail pass would be all you'd need to board one of these, as well..
