Handi-Cap Rail travel ?

Are there porters at rail stations to help with lifting luggage off and on the trains?
Are the rail stations handi-cap accessable? Elevators or escalators?

    Hi Lynne,

You might be able to try requesting luggage assistance from attendants at the stations or on board the train, however, actual official porter service is no longer offered at rail stations in Europe. While that is the case, you should definitely still be able to receive assistance at stations in major cities.

Rail stations are handicap accessible. If a station has multiple levels, it is likely to have escalators and/or elevators.
