    Hi Bidi,

I'm very sorry for the delay getting back to you. There is no longer a direct overnight train from Paris to Rome. An overnight connection from Paris to Rome would involve taking a direct night train from Paris to Milan, where you would switch to a high-speed train that would take you down to Rome.

You would check schedules and purchase tickets by entering the route on our homepage, www.raileurope.com. For an overnight trip from Paris to Rome, however, you would just have to piece together the connection by doing a separate search for each segment. Therefore, you would do one search to access the night train from Paris to Milan and then another search for connecting trains from Milan to Rome.

When you pull up the results of your search from Paris to Milan, you would check the type of sleeping compartments being offered for the night train by clicking the 'View' button that's underneath the fares that display.

Also, just be sure to match the station of departure for your train to Rome with the station of arrival for the night train from Paris. The night train from Paris to Milan only arrives into the Centrale station, which is the main station in Milan.

The night train from Paris to Milan is a 'Thello' overnight train. Trains from Milan to Rome are 'Le Frecce' ('Frecciarossa' and 'Frecciabianca') trains and 'Italo' trains.

Generally, the night train from Paris to Milan is able to be booked within 90 to 120 days of an intended date of departure. The 'Le Frecce' trains can only be booked within 90 days of an intended departure date, while 'Italo' trains can be booked once within 120 days of an intended departure date.
