HELP! I need some help figuring out amount of time to walk through FCO terminal and customs to make our train departure.

We are arriving in Rome (FCO) on Sunday June 17 at 8:30 AM. How long APPROXIMATELY will it take us to get off the plane, walk through terminal, go through customs, walk to train, and get on our train for our destination to Cinque Terre?
There is a train at 11:08 am. Do you think 2 1/2 hours is enough time to make our train? If not, there is another at 1:08 PM.
Please let us know if we will have plenty of time, cutting it close, etc!
Thanks for your input!

    Hello Susan,

We generally recommend a minimum of 2 hours after your scheduled flight arrival to catch a train. In your case, 2.5 hours should be enough time to make it through the airport, keep in mind though you will likely have to connect to Rome Termini to continue on towards Cinque Terre, which will take another 30-45 minutes from FCO. If the train you are referring to leaves from Rome Termini at 1:08pm, that is the departure I would recommend. Enjoy your trip!
