I’m a bit worried

Help With Luggage. Porters?

Hi Jeff,
We are taking a short trip through the UK in a couple of months. One concern is the security of the luggage in the general bins and also because we're not kids, we need help or a porter to help us with the luggage. Is there someone available to help in comfort class?

Thanks,
Alex

    Hi Alex,

Luggage is the responsibility of the traveler. You would store your luggage in the overhead racks or below your seat. You might be able to try requesting assistance from an attendant at the station or on board the train, although actual porter service is no longer offered at rail stations in Europe. Many stations would have self-service luggage carts for transporting luggage.
