High speed train Naples to Bari?

I am flying into Naples and need to get to Bari/Puglia.I see that there is a train that takes 4 hours or more. Are there any high speed trains and where would I find that info for the rest of my trip? I will be going up to Florence and down south of Naples.Thank you.

    Hi Richard,

Connections from Naples to Bari do take about 4 hours, involving one train change in Caserta en route. From Naples to Caserta, you would be on a regional train. From Caserta to Bari, you would take a Frecciargento high-speed train.

You would purchase tickets from Naples to Bari by searching the route under 'Tickets & Reservations' on the homepage of our website, www.raileurope.com. Then you can do the same for other routes.

If you were to go to Florence right from Bari, the connection would take 7 or 8 hours and involve changing trains once in Bologna along the way.

From Bari to Bologna, there are Frecciabianca high-speed trains and slower IC (InterCity) trains.

From Bologna to Florence, there are Frecciarossa and Frecciargento high-speed trains, as well as slower IC trains.
