    Hi Sahil,

For travel with a rail pass, you would purchase reservations by searching a route on our homepage (www.raileurope.com), checking the box that says ‘I have a rail pass’, and then indicating the type of rail pass with which you'll be traveling. By indicating that you'll be traveling with a rail pass for these trains, you would be quoted the 'passholder' reservation fees.

    Paris to Zurich

Trains from Paris to Zurich are high-speed TGV Lyria trains that require reservations as a supplement to a rail pass. Generally, the trains from Paris to Zurich can be reserved once within 120 days of an intended departure date.

    Zurich to Salzburg

Trains from Zurich to Salzburg are Railjet trains on which reservations are highly recommended as a supplement to a rail pass. Generally, trains from Zurich to Salzburg can only be reserved once within 90 days of an intended departure date.

These trains run along a notably scenic stretch of railway called the Arlberg Railway. The Arlberg Railway starts at around Bludenz (just after the train crosses the border into Austria) and goes up until Innsbruck. However, beautiful scenery will continue all the way up until Salzburg, as you pass through a small corner of Bavaria.

    Salzburg to Vienna

Trains from Salzburg to Vienna are Railjet trains on which reservations are highly recommended as a supplement to a rail pass. Generally, trains from Salzburg to Vienna can only be reserved once within 90 days of an intended departure date.

    Vienna to Prague

Trains from Vienna to Prague are Railjet trains on which reservations are highly recommended as a supplement to a rail pass. Generally, trains from Vienna to Prague can only be reserved once within 90 days of an intended departure date.
