How do we get from Luton Airport to Bury St Edmunds by rail?

We will fly from Aberdeen, Scotland to Luton, if that is the best way? Then we want to go to Bury St. Edmunds so what are our choices and the quickest way?

A connection from the Luton Parkway Airport to Bury St Edmunds would take about 2.5 hours and involves 2 train changes en route; once in London and then once in Cambridge.

You would purchase tickets and check schedules by clicking on 'Find Fares & Schedules' on our homepage. For this trip, you would just break up your search once in London. Therefore, you would do one search for trains from Luton to London and another search for the part of the connection from London to Bury St Edmunds. For trains that depart out of the airport, you would just look for the options that display 'Luton Airport Parkway' as the departure station when you pull up the results of your search from Luton to London.

When you pull up the results of each search, you will see that trains from Luton Airport Parkway to London arrive into the St. Pancras station in London, while trains to Cambridge depart from the Kings Cross station. Conveniently, these stations happen to be right next to one another, so you would just walk between them.
