How do we make reservations to sit together with two different kinds of passes/tickets? Going from Madrid to Sevilla

We are traveling from Madrid to Sevilla. My husband, son and I are just purchasing point-to-point tickets, but we are meeting up with my daughter who has a rail pass. How do we make a reservation that allows us all to sit together?

    Hi Beth,

On many trains throughout Europe, we are able to request that seats booked from different searches be together, however, it is not possible for us to do that with trains in Spain. Therefore, since three of you will be traveling with regular tickets for this train and your daughter will be traveling with a rail pass, you would request to change seats at the station prior to boarding or with the conductor or other passengers, once on board the train. It is nearly always the case that you would be able to be accommodated accordingly, so that you all will be able to seated together.
