I have a Euro pass for 3 countries, Germany, Austria, and Italy. Can I pass from Germany to Italy through Switzerland with this pass?

    Hi Vasily,

Your rail pass would not be valid to to cover travel in Switzerland. If you were to travel through Switzerland, you would purchase regular point-to-point tickets to be covered and possibly a 'Passholder 2' fare for a direct train that operates between a destination in Switzerland and a destination in Italy.

If you were to exit Germany through Munich or Bavaria on your way to Italy, then you would not pass through Switzerland en route. Rail connections to Italy from that part of Germany go through Austria, in which case you would be covered with your pass.
