Change in reply by Jeff to Hi Steve, The most feasible way to travel by rail from Madrid to Sarria would be to take the direct overnight train. You can purchase tickets and check schedules for this train by clicking on 'Find Fares & Schedules' on the homepage of our website, www.raileurope.com. If an error message appears prompting you to enter the station for Madrid after you enter your initial search, you would choose 'Madrid Chamartin' from the list of options that display. Chamartin is the station in Madrid where the night train to Sarria will depart from. Trains in Spain can only be booked within 60 days of an intended date of departure. If your intended travel falls outside of this time frame, you would just enter a date within the next 60 days to get an idea of cost and view schedules when searching the route on our website..
