    Hi Fred,

For trains from Gatwick Airport to Lewes, the tickets are issued as 'Anytime' fares, which are not confined to any one specific departure time. Therefore, even though you would select a specific departure on our website to purchase the ticket, the ticket we issue would be valid to use for other departures on the same day.

You would purchase tickets by searching the route under 'Book Train Tickets' on the homepage of our website, www.raileurope.com. To view the fare type, you would just click on the cost for the fare itself and then you would click on 'Fare details' in the box that expands out underneath. After you click on 'Fare details', a box will pop up where you should see "Anytime Day" in the name of the fare. It should also say, "Outbound Validity: Date on Ticket".
