I’m confused

If i buy 2 Eurail 1st class saver tickets, does that ensure that 4 adults can travel on the train around Italy?

I am from Australia and i have never bought Eurail tickets before and i am going to Italy for a holiday soon with some of my family, 4 people (that includes myself) and would like to travel around by train.

I went to purchase some Eurail passes http://www.eurail.com/eurail-passes/o... and when i went to order some i was wondering that if i buy 2 Eurail Italy 1st class saver passes for 7 days within 2 months, does that ensure that 4 adults can travel on this pass?

The Eurail site states that 2 to 5 people can travel on this pass but must travel together (which we will do as there is 4 of us in this group), and i can only buy a minimum of 2 passes on this deal. When i went to pay for them it said nothing about 2 passes covering 4 adult passes. Is buying 2 passes ensuring that all 4 of us will be allowed to travel with the passes?

I am afraid that when i arrive in Italy and try to use the passes (if i buy 2 1st class saver passes), to have then only work for 2 people and i do not wish to leave the other 2 people behind or have to purchase more passes when over there.

I would like to know very soon please, as i need to purchase the passes in a couple of days and i do not want to pay for 4 1st class saver tickets and waste money when the other option seems cheaper. Quick reply would be very helpful, thanks.

    Hi Jess,

Please note, this page is for the North American ticket supplier for the various national rail networks of Europe. We are not able to sell to residents of countries outside of North America, due to local restrictions. Residents of countries outside of North America would have to book through affiliated agents in their respective country. If you are from Australia, then you woud have to contact an agent there regarding your inquiry and place your order through them. Their website is http://www.raileurope.com.au/.
