    Hi Jason,

I'm sorry; however, there is no rail pass that combines the UK with countries on the mainland continent of Europe. The Eurail Global Pass only covers the 28 countries listed.

The UK is only covered by the various 'BritRail Passes'. These include the following:

The BritRail Pass - valid for England, Wales, and Scotland

The BritRail England Pass - valid only in England

The BritRail London Plus Pass - only covers areas in the south of England surrounding London

The BritRail South West Pass - covers only specific areas of southwest England and parts of Wales

You can access these passes here: https://www.raileurope.com/rail-tickets-passes/europe-rail-pass-list/#8.

There are also other passes just for Scotland.

  • Hi,

How do I figure out if/what trains are available to/from London, Lyme Regis, and Stonehenge? When I try to "book a ticket" it doesn't give me the option to select those places.

Also, does the BritRail South West Pass include transportation from all London Airports to the city?

    thanks!

      Hi Hilda,

Lyme Regis itself does not have a rail station. The closest rail station is Axminster, only about 5 miles away.

The closest station to Stonehenge is Salisbury, about 9 miles away. From the station in Salisbury, you can take a bus bus or taxi to get to Stonehenge.

Trains from London to Axminster and London to Salisbury are 'South West' trains operating on the same line. The BritRail South West Pass is valid on this line. The BritRail South West Pass is also valid on the Heathrow Express connecting the Heathrow Airport with the Paddington station in London.

For the BritRail South West Pass, you would click here: http://www.raileurope.com/pass/britra....

Reservations are not necessary on the trains between London, Axminster, and Salisbury. Therefore, the BritRail South West Pass is all you would need to board. For planning purposes, you can view schedules for these trains by doing a search on our website.

The Heathrow Express departs once every 15 minutes (taking about 15 minutes from terminals 1, 2 and 3 to Paddington and 23 minutes from terminal 5 to Paddington).

If you'll be staying in London for multiple days and you're planning on using public transit to get around, then you'd also want to consider purchasing either the 'London Travel Card' or the 'Visitor Oyster Card', both of which would cover public transit networks in the city, including the Tube, London Overground, and city buses.

To purchase the 'London Travel Card' you would click here: http://www.raileurope.com/pass/london...

To purchase the 'Visitor Oyster Card' you would click here: http://www.raileurope.com/pass/visito...
