Is this still a running business?

I attempted to buy tickets last week, and kept getting an error at checkout. I figured it was a glitch of some kind and put it off for a couple of days.

I tried making a booking today, and the following website features do not work:

(a) account creation - no matter how many times you verify the email, you cannot log in

(b) checkout - set up an itinerary, got to checkout, and an error message to call the 800 number

Calling the 800 number takes me to a loop of menus, there is no option which connects you to an agent, and no matter what you do, you get dumped back to the main menu.

Has raileurope gone out of business? Is it actually possible to book tickets at this site or through the telephone number?

    We are sorry to hear that you have not been able to purchase tickets on our website. The account creation is still an issue and is being worked on.

    For the error message at check out, as we are unsure of the error message it would be best to call us. Since the website does give you a reference number, when you call in you can select that prompt on the phone menu system. This will allow you to speak to an agent and determine why you are not able to proceed with your booking online.
