Issues printing my train tickets from Rome to Florence

I booked two trips in Italy; one from Rome to Florence and one from Florence to Venezia. I was able to print the one from Florence to Venezia, however I am unable to print the one from Rome to Florence. There is no ticket in the link, and I have been charge for both legs. Not sure what to do

    Hi Bella,

It is most likely the case that your specific train from Rome to Florence is an Italo (NTV) train. Italo (NTV) trains are actually "ticketless", meaning you would be able to board just by speaking your PNR code to the conductor. They also may require you just to show ID. For these particular trains, no actual tickets are issued and there is nothing that needs to be printed.

In the email we sent you, check to see if it says 'NTV' next to the train number for your train from Rome to Florence. If it does, that means all you need to do to board is tell the conductor your PNR code. The PNR code for your ticket would be located right there with the rest of the train's information in the email.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

  • Thank you. Is the PNR number the booking confirmation number?

No, the "booking confirmation number" is the booking number for your entire order. PNR codes are specific to each set of tickets within an order. In your email, the PNR code for a ticket would be labeled as "Ticket reference". It would be a mix of letters and numbers, and it would be 6 characters in length.
