    Hi Herb,

The Eurail Global Pass is the pass that covers travel in 28 different European countries. It is the only pass that covers travel in that many countries. The countries included are Austria, Belgium, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Montenegro, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and Turkey. Also included are Liechtenstein and Monaco, which are considered part of Austria and France respectively (for the purpose of rail passes).

There is no list of cities, as the Eurail Global Pass would cover travel to thousands of cities spread across all of these countries. With that said, Wengen is one place that the Eurail Global Pass does not have reach to.

The Eurail Global Pass would cover as far as Interlaken on the way to Wengen (you would have to go through Interlaken to get to Wengen).

To get to Wengen from Interlaken, you would still just have to take a short train from Interlaken to Lauterbrunnen and then an even shorter train from Lauterbrunnen to Wengen. Trains from Interlaken to Lauterbrunnen operate on the famed Bernese Oberland Railway, and trains from Lauterbrunnen to Wengen are on the Wengernalp Railway.

Since the Eurail Global Pass doesn't cover trains from Interlaken to Lauterbrunnen and Lauterbrunnen to Wengen, you would have to purchase tickets to board. You would purchase tickets by entering a route under 'Find Train Tickets' on our homepage, www.raileurope.com. You would do one search for trains from Interlaken to Lauterbrunnen and another search for connecting trains from Lauterbrunnen to Wengen.

Otherwise, there is a regional pass that will cover trains in the area, including the trains from Interlaken to Lauterbrunnen and Lauterbrunnen to Wengen.

For the immediate area around Interlaken/Wengen, we offer a pass called the 'Jungfrau Travel Pass'. The Jungfrau Travel Pass covers various trains, cable cars, and gondolas in between Interlaken and Jungfraujoch.

For the Jungfrau Travel Pass, you would click here: https://www.raileurope.com/activities/jungfrau-vip-pass/index.html.

The Jungfrau Travel Pass covers all of the following:

    - Interlaken-Lauterbrunnen (Bernese Oberland Railway)

    - Interlaken-Grindelwald (Bernese Oberland Railway)

    - Grindelwald-Kleine Scheidegg (Wengernalp Railway)

    - Lauterbrunnen-Wengen-Kleine Scheidegg (Wengernalp Railway)

    - Kleine Scheidegg-Eigergletscher-Jungfraujoch (Jungfrau Railway)

    - Wilderswil-Schynige Platte (Schynige Platte Railway)

    - Grindelwald-Bort-Schreckfeld-First (Firstbahn cable car)

    - Grindelwald-Männlichen (Gondelbahn Grindelwald–Männlichen gondola cableway)

    - Wengen-Männlichen (Männlichenbahn cable car)

    - Interlaken-Harder Kulm (Harderbahn funicular)

    - Lauterbrunnen-Grütschalp (Grütschalpbahn cable car)

    - Grütschalp-Mürren (Mürrenbahn)

    - Grindelwald-Grosse Scheidegg (bus)

    - Grindelwald-Waldspitz (bus)

    - BLS cruises on Lake Thun and Lake Brienz

The 5 and 6 day options of the Jungfrau Travel Pass would also cover the short rail line between the Interlaken Ost station and the Interlaken West statation (the ride between these stations only takes 3 minutes).

In contrast, the Jungfrau Travel Pass does not cover the following:

    -Lauterbrunnen-Stechelberg (bus)

    -Stechelberg-Gimmelwald- Mürren (Schilthornbahn cable car)

    -Mürren-Birg-Schilthorn (Schilthornbahn cable car)

    -Mürren-Almendhubel (Almendhubelbahn funicular)

    -Interlaken-Heimwehfluh (Heimwehfluhbahn funicular)

    -Brienz-Rothorn Kulm (Brienz-Rothorn Railway)

    -Sörenberg-Rothorn Kulm (cable car)

    -Beatenberg-Niederhorn (Niederhornbahn/Seilbahnen Beatenberg-Niederhorn gondola)

    -Beatenbucht (Lake Thun)-Beatenberg (Thunersee-Beatenberg funicular)

    -Beatenbucht-Thun (bus)
