Luggage question

what is the policy with luggage on the trains and also if I have a 4 month old child do I have to pay for him to travel?

  • Luggage requirements vary depending on the operating train company. Typically they allow 2 large bags per passenger weighing 50kg. If the airlines allow the bag, the train companies will generally allow them on the trains without issue.

    A child under the age of 3 is generally free on trains in Europe as long as the child is traveling in the lap of the parent or legal guardian.
