Missing a ticket for part of a trip from Bruges to Amsterdam?

I recently ordered tickets for a few different trips. For my Bruges to Amsterdam ticket, I only received a print at home ticket for the Brussels to Amsterdam leg of the trip. Is this typical or should I be waiting for my ticket from Bruges to Brussels?

    Hi Christine,

For connections such as this (involving a Thalys train connecting to or from a city in Belgium), special tickets called 'ABS' ('Any Belgian Station') tickets are what is issued. With regard to your purchase, it is likely that the fare you purchased on the Thalys train from Brussels to Amsterdam is valid to cover you on the train from Bruges to Brussels that connect to it. As a result, separate physical tickets would actually not have been issued for the first of your trip, as you would just show your Brussels-Amsterdam tickets in order to board the train from Bruges to Brussels that connects to it.

If you'd like to verify with regard to your specific order, please call us at 1-800-622-8600. Our current hours are 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM CT Monday to Friday and 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM CT on Saturdays.
