    Hi,

A connection from Munich to Split involves changing trains once in Zagreb along the way.

Taking about 18.5 hours is a connection that involves taking a day train from Munich to Zagreb and an overnight train from Zagreb to Split.

Taking just under 22 hours is a connection that involves taking an overnight train from Munich to Zagreb and then a day train from Zagreb to Split.

You would purchase tickets by searching a route under 'Find Train Tickets' on our homepage, www.raileurope.com. For a trip from Munich to Split, you would just have to break up your search once in Zagreb. Therefore, you would do one search from Munich to Zagreb and another search from Zagreb to Split.

Generally, trains from Munich to Zagreb can be booked within 60 to 90 days of an intended departure date, while trains from Zagreb to Split can only be booked within 60 days of an intended departure.

From Split, you would reach Dubrovnik by bus or another ferry. The bus takes about 3 to 4 hours in duration, and the ferry takes about 9 hours in duration. Tickets for the bus can only be purchased directly through the bus company, and tickets for the ferry can only be purchased directly through the ferry company.
