Norway in a nutshell from Bergen to Oslo with Eurail Scandinavia Pass

Hi there,

We are planing to visit Norway on 11 April to 15 April. Then, we will travel to Stockholm. We are thinking to buy the Eurail Scandinavia Pass for 9 days. We have done some homeworks and found out that the Eurail Scandinavia Pass will not cover the route from Voss to Myrdal. So, we need to buy the Eurail Passholder 'Myrdal-Flam-Gudvangen-Voss' option of the Norway in a Nutshell.

However, we plan to start the Norway in a Nutshell trip from Bergen and end at Oslo. Here are our questions.

1. Does the Eurail Scandinavia Pass cover the route from Bergen to Voss and Myrdal to Oslo?
2. Does the Eurail Passholder 'Myrdal-Flam-Gudvangen-Voss' cover our route from Voss - Gudvagen - Flam - Myrdal?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi Sumet. Thank you for your question.

If you begin in Bergen, the Eurail Scandinavia Pass will cover your train from Bergen to Voss and your train from Myrdal to Oslo. The train from Myrdal to Oslo would just require reservations in addition to the rail pass. For travel with a rail pass, you would purchase reservations for the train from Myrdal to Oslo by clicking on 'Book your Rail Pass Reservations' on our homepage, entering the route, and indicating the type of rail pass you'll be traveling with when you're prompted (i.e. Eurail Scandinavia Pass). You would purchase the Eurail Scandinavia Pass here:

You would purchase the 'Myrdal-Flam-Gudvangen-Voss For Use Only With Eurail Pass Which Includes Norway' option of the 'Norway in a Nutshell' to be covered on the bus from Voss to Gudvangen, the ferry from Gudvangen to Flåm, and the Flåm Railway from Flåm to Myrdal. You would purchase the 'Norway in a Nutshell' here:
