Overnight train from London to Munich

Would like to travel overnight from London to Munich in late June. Are there any trains available that accomplish this and how many transfers are required?

    Hi Bob,

An overnight connection from London to Munich would involve 2 train changes en route; once in Brussels and then once in Cologne. The segment from Cologne to Munich would be on the actual overnight train.

You would purchase tickets by entering the route on our homepage, www.raileurope.com. For a trip such as this, you would piece together the connection by doing a separate search for each segment. Therefore, you would do one search for trains from London to Brussels (high-speed Eurostar trains), another search for connecting trains from Brussels to Cologne (high-speed Thalys trains), and then another search to access the night train from Cologne to Munich (the 'Pollux' City Night Line train).

With said, our website is currently only displaying one type of sleeping compartment as an option for the night train from Cologne to Munich. If you'd like to book a different sleeping compartment from what is shown on our site, you would have to call us. We can be reached at 1-800-622-8600.
