    Hi Magaly,

On the Eurostar (the train from Paris to London), mobility scooters are kept in a special holding area. To make arrangements for your scooter, you would have to contact Eurostar directly. The number to call is to the EuroDespatch Centre at 03448 225 822. This space is limited, so it is recommended that you do so in advance of your actual travel date.

To access the Eurostar platforms and trains, a scooter should not exceed 100cm in width. Only electric or battery-operated scooters are able to be transported on the Eurostar.

On other trains, including trains from London to Southampton, arrangements for the scooter also would have to be made locally.

As for your seat, the Eurostar train does require reservations as a supplement to a rail pass. For travel with a rail pass, you would purchase the reservations from Paris to London by clicking the 'Seat Reservations' tab on our homepage (www.raileurope.com), entering the route, and indicating the type of rail pass with which you'll be traveling (i.e. 'Eurail Two Country Select Pass'). The Eurostar can sell out quickly, so it is recommended that reservations be purchased as soon as possible. Generally, this train can be booked 6 to 9 months in advance of a departure.
