Hi, I'm from Canada and will be travelling to Europe in May with some friends. We will need a 4 country select pass, Italy, Austria, Germany and Hungary. I know that is certain, however what I'm not sure about are reservations fro trains. Should i purchase the pass, and then reserve my spot on whatever trains we want, or am I able to reserve trains before receiving my pass? I'm just a little confused. If someone could guide me through the process, it would be greatly appreciated

    Hi Scott,

To avoid any additional shipping or processing fees, I would recommend requesting your reservations within the same order as your rail pass. Trains in this part of Europe can be reserved once within 90 days of an intended date of departure.

After you add the pass to your 'Itinerary' (shopping cart), you would click 'Read More' in the light yellow box where it says 'Check to determine if you need reservations when traveling with your rail pass'. A button that says 'Add Reservation' would then appear just below, which is what you would click to purchase your reservations.
