PROMO pass for Spain. How do I reserve my trains/seats? When do I book the trains? Does the promo pass give us the same options?

I'm interested in buying PROMO Spain pass, 1st class (only for one country) and want to use two or three times (within a month). The problem is: I can't find a way to reserve my trains/ schedules/ seats, along with buying the Eurail Promo pass. It's asking me payment first but when do I book the trains? Does EuRail Promo pass give us the same options as we purchase outside of the pass? Or do you have specific days and trains? Kindly answer me quick as I have to book before the promo expires.

    Hi Samreen,

There is currently a promotion for 15% off single country Eurail Passes, including the Eurail Spain Pass. This offer is only available online until tomorrow, December 27th.

If you are from the United States, you would access the Eurail Spain Pass here:

If you are from Canada, you would access the Eurail Spain Pass here:

For the most comfortable travel, we recommend purchasing your pass for 1st class.

The promo pass (with the 15% discount) works the same way and provides the same coverage as the regular-priced rail pass.

The objective of a rail pass is to cover the ticket costs for trains running between different cities within the country or countries included on the pass. When applicable, reservations are a supplementary cost to a rail pass. Reservations are required on most high-speed trains, many international routes, and all overnight trains. Most major cities in Spain are connected almost exclusively by high-speed trains. Therefore, it is often the case that reservations would be required when traveling in Spain.

For travel with a Eurail Spain Pass, you would purchase reservations by searching a route on our homepage ( for the U.S. or for Canada), checking the box that says ‘I have a rail pass’, and then indicating the type of rail pass with which you'll be traveling (i.e. a ‘Eurail Spain Pass’). Generally, reservable trains in Spain can only be booked within 90 days of an intended departure date.

To avoid any additional and unnecessary shipping or processing fees, it is recommended that reservations be purchased in the same order as the rail pass. To add reservations to you order, you would just click 'Continue Shopping' after adding the rail pass to your shopping cart and proceed until you have completed adding all your reservations.
