Changed description to I was wondering if it is cheaper to buy the eurail pass for 5 day trips during a week in Paris or just buying individual tickets when we get to the train station.6 people (3 adults & 3 youth) doing day trips We are thinking of going to Strasbourg for 1 night, then day trips to Lyon, Chateau Chambord, and Mt St Michel

    Change in reply by Jeff to Hi Michele,<br /><br />I would definitely recommend getting a rail pass if your itinerary includes destinations as far from <a href="https://www.raileurope.com/city/paris" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Paris</a> as Strasbourg, Lyon, Chambord, and <a href="https://www.raileurope.com/city/mont-st-michel" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" title="Link https//wwwraileuropecom/city/mont-st-michel">Mont St Michel</a>.<br /><br />For the <a href="https://www.raileurope.com/pass/france-rail-pass-5911" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Eurail France Pass</a>, you would click here: <a href="https://www.raileurope.com/pass/france-rail-pass-5911" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" title="Link https//wwwraileuropecom/pass/france-rail-pass-5911">https://www.raileurope.com/pass/france-rail-pass-5911</a><br /><br />The <a href="https://www.raileurope.com/train/tgv-7537" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">TGV</a> and Intercités trains will just require reservations a supplement to a rail pass.
